Humain Hires IPO Team As It Gears Up For Dual Listing

Published Sep 7, 2026

Summary:
  • Humain CEO Tareq Amin is recruiting an IPO prep team, saying on LinkedIn he's looking for "a few exceptional individuals."
  • Amin previously outlined a target to go public in 2028 or 2029, with the stock envisioned to trade on Nasdaq and on the Saudi stock exchange.
  • According to Bloomberg, Humain is targeting an opening raise of $2.5 billion from overseas and local backers to finance a Saudi data-center fund, while PIF presses its portfolio companies to list.

Humain's IPO warm-up

Humain is putting together a squad for its IPO run-up. CEO Tareq Amin posted on LinkedIn, "I'm looking for a few exceptional individuals to join our IPO preparation team at HUMAIN," noting the roles center on investor-facing strategy and building materials for the company's pitch to investors. The outreach follows Amin's comments a year ago that the company was targeting a 2028 or 2029 debut, with shares expected to trade in both the U.S. on Nasdaq and in the Saudi market. Company representatives declined to say when a listing might actually happen.

Building the AI backbone and the war chest

Launched in 2025, Humain has been signing deals to assemble the infrastructure and computing power essential for developing and operating AI models. That same year it unveiled a $10 billion venture capital vehicle aimed at startups worldwide, and in February it put $3 billion into Elon Musk's xAI. Bloomberg reported last week that Humain aims to secure an initial $2.5 billion from backers at home and abroad to fund a vehicle focused on Saudi data-center financing - reflecting its part in the kingdom's data-center expansion.

The bigger push and why it matters

Humain is owned by the $900 billion Public Investment Fund, which is encouraging its subsidiaries to head for public markets as part of a broader privatization effort. Last year, the fund divested a minority interest in Humain to Saudi Aramco. Across the Gulf, energy-rich states are pouring capital into AI infrastructure and technologies, and Humain is one of the flagship efforts.

For everyday investors, the takeaway is simple: if Humain follows through on a dual-venue listing and ramps its data center investments, the region's AI buildout will be easier to track - and eventually, easier to price into your view of where the next wave of compute and capital is going.
